ABOUT
Embark on a journey to Althorpe Island, located 4.5 nautical miles from the mainland. With a significant maritime history, the island is home to several state heritage-listed structures, multiple shipwrecks, and graves.
The tour showcases the stunning scenery and abundant wildlife, including the Australian Sea Lion, various sea birds, and marine life. We'll leisurely cruise around the island, taking in the impressive views before returning to the mainland. Along the way, we'll also pass the Eastern Osprey nest, where you might catch a glimpse of these magnificent birds of prey. Keep your eyes peeled for the White Bellied Sea Eagles that nest on nearby Middle Island, too!

TENDER & VESSEL ACCESSIBILITY
In order to access our cruise vessel, transfer via tender boat is required, including a beach launch. Clients MUST have a level of mobility that allows for climbing in/out of a 5-metre tinny. You will be required to step in the water and may need to remove your shoes. You will need to be able to lift your legs to hip height, and navigate steps. Some swell may be present when boarding or disembarking the tender. If you are unable to safely undertake these steps this cruise is NOT SUITABLE for you.
Please note that cruises depart from Pondalowie Bay Fisherman's Village. A National Parks Pass for Dhilba Guuranda-Innes National Park is required and is not included in the cost of your tour. Passes are per-vehicle, and must be purchased online prior to arrival.
